Ravn · web development in Tallinn

I build websites, set up serversand put AI to work.

Ravn is a one-developer studio. This page is my desk: recent work, plus a few things you can try right away. The server, the assistant and the automation are all real and running.

What I do

Most projects start with a website. Often it turns out the server, an integration or some tedious manual task needs fixing too. All of that can be done in one go.

  1. A website design on a laptop screen

    01

    Websites and online stores

WordPress sites and WooCommerce stores you can manage yourself. Fast, properly structured and easy for search engines to understand.

    • WordPress and WooCommerce
    • Performance and technical SEO
    • Edit the content yourself
    • Modernising older sites
  2. Code on a screen

    02

    Web applications

For when an off-the-shelf platform is no longer enough: client portals, booking systems and internal tools built on Next.js and React.

    • Client portals and booking
    • Internal tools
    • APIs and integrations
  3. A server room

    03

    Servers and infrastructure

Linux server setup and maintenance. I also set up automatic deployments so updates go live without manual steps.

    • Linux, Docker and Nginx
    • SSL, backups, monitoring
    • Automatic deployments
    • Maintenance and updates
  4. An abstract image representing artificial intelligence

    04

    AI and automation

I find the work that gets done by hand every day and turn it into an automatic process that saves time and money.

    • AI assistants and support
    • Processing enquiries and documents
    • Workflow automation
    • Reports that write themselves

Ask my assistant

Answers come from Claude (Anthropic), based on this page.

The assistant knows what's on this page: services, how I work and the frequently asked questions.

Assistant: Hi! Ask me about the services, how pricing works or how a project runs.

Answers are automated. For an exact quote, send an email.

The customer support on arelet.ee works the same way, just on their own material.

An automation you can run yourself

A typical workflow: an email lands in the inbox, gets read, classified and sent to the right place, without anyone doing it by hand.

In a real workflow a simple rule sometimes replaces the AI. I pick whatever is cheaper and more reliable.

What does repetitive manual work cost you?

Almost every company has tasks that are done by hand the same way every week. Move the sliders to see how much time and money they take up each year.

How a project runs

  1. A meeting at a table
    1

    Conversation

We talk about what you need and what the goal is. I look at your current site or system.

  2. Notes and a plan on paper
    2

    Proposal

You get a written proposal with a timeline and a price. Anything unclear is settled before we start.

  3. A developer's desk
    3

    Build

I work in short phases and show progress along the way, so you can weigh in early.

  4. The finished site on a phone and a computer
    4

    Launch

I test everything, deploy it to the server and show you how to use it.

  5. Server cables
    5

    Care

Updates, backups and further development if you want. If not, a proper handover.

Code on a screen in a dim room

Uljas · Ravn · Tallinn

One person, not an agency.

The person you discuss the project with is the same one who writes the code, sets up the server and answers your email when something needs changing later. Decisions get made faster and nothing gets lost along the way.

Communication
In Estonian or English. By email, phone or in person, whatever suits you.
Pricing
You get a written proposal before any work starts. Larger jobs are split into phases.
Ownership
The code, credentials and documentation are yours. You are not tied to me.
Maintenance
After launch I can keep looking after the site and server. If not, I hand everything over properly.

Let's talk about your project.

A few sentences about what you need is plenty to start with. I usually reply by the next working day.
